The Marina Bay Apartment was a tired home that has been lovingly brought back to life.
When you experience a fun filled day at the beach and come home to relax on the balcony with a refreshing drink, enjoying the peace and quiet of the small but perfectly formed marina, you will understand why we considered moving in ourselves.
The two bedrooms have ample room to accommodate 5 persons NOTE! 5th bed is a fold out, and the enormous bathroom and separate shower room ensure there are no queues when getting ready to go out for the evening.
There are spacious indoor and outdoor dinning areas if you prefer to eat in.
50 meters from the Marina Bay Apartment. A mix of pebbles and sand with shallow waters.
Next door only 20 meters, Magemenos Avlos is a Seafood, Mediterranean, Greek Restaurant that have excelent reviews on Tripadvisor.
Small shops start at 150m from the apartment. The large supermarket is 500m away.
Bus station is only 100 meters from the apartment and the bus No7 goes every 20min to Corfu Town.
Nearest Bar is only 140 meters from the Marina Bay Apartment.
Boats can be hired in the marina from Leonidas Boat Hire just 40m from the apartment.
High ceilings, large rooms, beautiful view and all the little extras (sun beds, deck chairs, pillows for the sun beds, beach bag, beach towels, etc.) that make a holiday.
Great accommodation in Ipsos. Views over the marina are really nice. Kristoffer provided clear and helpful instructions. Highly recomm
Ipsos is quite a lively and noisy place but Kristoffer's place is placed in the small marina on the outskirts of the main street so it's nice and quiet with a lovely view to the small harbour and the sea. You'll fall asleep hearing the waves. Aircon helps a lot with a comfortable stay plus one of the best wifi connections we had on the island. The little family run taverna closest to the house is a must ... great people and excellent homemade food!
This is one place where the pictures of the view do not do it justice. Waking up on a clear day and looking out to the turquoise blue ocean, cliffs and marina is an incredible experience. We loved that the apartment is on the quiet end of Ipsos, and having the cafe next door with Costas really made our stay even more special (he delivers!). Ipsos is a great base for exploring nearby towns and beaches like Kalami and Agni. Having laundry is a plus (but be mindful of not setting the temperature too high!). Thank you Kristoffer for a lovely and memorable start of our holiday on the island of Corfu. P.S. The apartment is huge!! 🙂
